August 7-9, 2008: Pensacola Lighthouse

A public Ghost Hunt at the Pensacola Lighthouse on NAS Pensacola was conducted by the Ghost Seekers of Texas. Three one-hour hunts per night were conducted at 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30 and we added two 10:30 hunts on August 8th and 9th.

Tours went to all areas of the keepers' quarters and the light tower. Each hunt yielded numerous personal experiences: feelings of being touched on the legs in the tower quarters, hearing knocks upstairs in what is now the office area, objects moving in the parlor area and museum display cases, feelings of sadness in the basement, feelings of something wet touching the same part of people's arms in the same area but at different times, and a host of other feelings, scents, sensations, and sounds that could not be reasonably explained. Also observed were EMF fluctuations, temperature drops and increases and very active and intelligent K-II readings.

The Ghost Hunts at the Pensacola Lighthouse was a success, we feel the lighthouse and keeper's quarters does have an extreme amount of paranormal activity.

Going over all evidence, we have uncovered a few unexplainable EVPs, one video clip, and no photos.

Video of the only unexplainable light anomaly for the whole three nights we were at the Lighthouse. It's upstairs in the keeper's room going up to the tower. It was early in the hunt on Thursday night. All other light orbs and anomalies can be explained by dust, bugs, and atmospheric conditions; this one we can not recreate nor can we explain as we have not seen something like this on all the investigations we have worked on in the past.
